Chicken Wings the TGK Way

Whoever coined the phrase “Ain't Nothin But A Chicken Wing” never had TGK’s Oven Baked Chicken Wings. At TGK we rely on healthy ingredients, natural and humanely raised chicken to create flavorful meals. With our wings, we add a scientific aspect, as well. There are 3 key ingredients: Chicken Wings, Salt, and Baking Powder. Yes! Baking Powder (without aluminum). When adding baking powder, we want a chemical reaction between the baking powder and the chicken wings. It only takes a small amount to create a crispy wing. Oil free, no frying. Enjoy them with our BBQ Spice Blend (recipe below), your own spice blend, or plain and tossed in your favorite sauce .

Yields 8 oz


  • 1 3/4 Tbsp Sea salt, low sodium 
  • 1 3/4 Tbsp Paprika, Hungarian ground
  • 1 3/4 Tbsp Smoked paprika
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 1/4 Tbsp Chile powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin, ground
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Black pepper


  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container for up to 6 month

BBQ Rubbed Chicken Wings

Yields 1lb


  • 1 lb Chicken wings; tips removed
  • 1 Tbsp TGK BBQ Rub 
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder


  • Preheat oven to 300
  • Pat wings dry with a paper towel
  • Combine wings and baking powder. Toss well to coat.
  • Toss with BBQ rub and coat well
  • Place a rack onto of a sheet pan and then place the wings to bake
  • Bake for 30 min at 300 degrees, or until 165 degrees internal
  • Air fry according to manufacturer's guidelines
